Last updated: 21 October 2026 · App: VoiceVault (com.puliyal.voicevault) · Developer: Puliyal
Summary: VoiceVault does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All recordings stay on your
device. The app has no internet access, no ads, no analytics, and no account.
1. Information we collect
None. VoiceVault does not collect, upload, or transmit any personal information, usage data, identifiers,
or audio. The app does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and it does not request the
INTERNET permission — it is technically incapable of sending data off your device.
2. Audio recordings
Recordings you create are captured from your device microphone and saved only in the app's private
storage on your device.
Recordings are never uploaded to us or any third party. We cannot access them.
You can play, rename, delete, or share your recordings at any time. When you delete a recording, it is
removed from your device. If you uninstall the app, its recordings are removed by the system.
Sharing a recording (via the share button) hands the file to the other app you choose; what happens after
that is governed by that app's own policies.
3. Permissions we use
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO) — required to record audio, only while you are recording.
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — to show an ongoing "recording in progress" notice.
Foreground service / microphone — to keep a recording running reliably while the screen is off.
4. Responsible use
Recording laws vary by region, and many require the consent of everyone being recorded. You are responsible for
using VoiceVault lawfully — record only conversations you are part of, and obtain consent where required.
5. Children
VoiceVault is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
